The story behind Grandma’s Milk and Cookies:
Nicole and her Grandma Dewes made these cookies every year for Christmas, since she was old enough to walk. Growing up living next door to her Grandma, they’d call her Dad (Scott) over to come test the cookies when they were fresh out of the oven. No matter what he was busy working on, he always made time to come sit and have a few warm cookies. He usually (always) approved! This is a really sweet and special way to honor both of them, who passed away within one year of each other. Scott’s Parlor wouldn’t exist without them.
